  The student needs to:

  •  Be prompt and prepared for class with all necessary materials and agenda.
  • Record the daily assignments in the agenda.  All assignments are due the following day unless specified by the teacher.  All assignments are on Harmony.
  • If absent, check Harmony to stay up with assignments.  Absenteeism is a key factor for students not succeeding in school!
  • Follow all handbook rules and individual classroom rules.
  • Be respectful and mannerly at all times.

The following consequences will occur for disobeying the rules:

  • Chronic disruptions in the classroom will result in an email to parents and/or detention.
  • When possible, any work that is missing will be noted in Harmony.   The missing assignment will receive a 0%.  Each teacher has an assignment policy posted within the classroom.  Students should refer to the specific classroom policy regarding make-up work.  If poor study habits become routine for a student, an individual plan will be established.
  • Every attempt will be made to control disruptions within the classroom either by verbal cues or isolating the student.   Should all attempts fail, the student will be referred to the office for disciplinary action.
