ATHLETICS:

BOYS BASKETBALL

            The schedule this week is:

            Tuesday, December 4th

                        6th Grade @ Lake Station at 5:30pm

                        7th/8th A vs. Lake Station at 5:30pm

            Wednesday, December 6th

                        6th Grade @ Griffith at 5:30pm

                        7th/8th A vs. Griffith at 5:30pm

TRACK CONDITIONING

You must have a physical on file to participate in conditioning.

8th GRADE GIRLS BASKETBALL

Any 8th grade girl interested in playing basketball needs to attend a call-out meeting today. The meeting will be held in the auditorium at the end of lunch at 10:55am.

GIRLS GOLF

For any 8th grade girls interested in being a part of the Wheeler High School girls' golf team next fall, there will be an open range session at Creekside this Thursday, December 6th at 4:00pm.  See Coach Lyons in room 204 of the high school if you have any questions.

 

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

BOMB THE GRINCH

We’re kicking off December with BOMB THE GRINCH! Today through Friday, December 14th bring in any pennies or dollars to raise your Advisor totals but watch out! Any silver coins “bombed” in ANOTHER Advisor class will drop that Advisor’s total. The totals from each Advisor will be donated to the Lunch with Santa program. Prizes will be announced soon but…you WANT to win this one!!

P7 CLUB

Thursday, December 6th will be UTMS first P7 Club meeting. It will take place in room 606 (6th grade math room) at 3:10 - 4:00! The P7 Club is a student led after school Christian Bible club, but all are welcome. We would love to see you there!! There will be free food and lots of fun activities!

STUDENT COUNCIL

The Holiday Dance Decorations Committee will meet after school on Tuesday, December 4th in Sra.'s room.  All Student Council members should attend the next general meeting this Thursday, December 6th after school in Sra.'s room.  Please see Sra. if you are unable to attend.

SPEECH

There will be no speech on Friday, December 7th.

ROBOTICS CLUB

There will be a Robotics competition on Saturday, December 15th at Portage High School. There is no entrance fee and the doors open at 7:30am with the opening ceremony starting at 9:20am. Rise and shine and come see an amazing display of our students’ hard work!

CAFETERIA

The cafeteria will be serving a holiday meal on Wednesday, December 5th to all students.  A la carte items will not be available to purchase on that day.
