FLORIDA TRIP

Florida Trip deposits are due this week! 

 

HONOR ROLL AND ATTENDANCE AWARDS

Please check the door by the front office for the 2nd trimester awards – if you think your name should be on either list, ask Mrs. Shields for Honor Roll and Mrs. Kruszka for attendance.

STUDENT COUNCIL

There will be a student council meeting for all members after school next Thursday, the 14th, in Sra’s Room. If anyone is unable to attend please see Sra.

MUSIC IN OUR SCHOOLS MONTH

Thursday will be our rap battle. We have 3 contestants! Mrs. Sims will be sending you a Google form to vote for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place this week.  Base your judgment on how clearly you can hear the rap, if the message is clear and if they keep good beat! 

Also, next week will be spirit week for music in our schools. Be on the lookout for flyers detailing what each day will be! 

YEARBOOKS

There are 18 yearbooks left. They are available to order on a first come basis. Orders can be placed online or see Mrs. Lucas.

NJHS MARCH MADNESS DANCE

Join NJHS this Friday from 5-7 pm for March Madness.  There will be dancing, open gym and an ice cream bar. Admission is $5.00 and ice cream bar is $2.00.   All proceeds will go to a local family in need.

BOX TOPS MARCH MADNESS TOURNAMENT

Which advisory class will top the bracket? Bring in your Box Tops to the media center (Make sure to tell Mrs. Sullivan which class you're in) each week to take out the other classes. The winners in each grade level will win an Icee Pop Party!

Round 1 matchups:

6th Grade- Lavery vs Miller

                            Blakely vs Smith

                            Glusac and Snyder have a bye

7th Grade- Eleftheri vs Hostetler

                             Spoor, Lucas and Guillen have a bye

8th Grade- Benjamin vs Gass

                             Boender vs Blaszkiewicz

                             Kohne and Baumgartner have a bye

Winner of each head to head match up will advance in the bracket. Official brackets are in the media center!
