Diane studied at Indiana University earning a B.A. in Spanish with a minor in Psychology.  Her junior year she studied in Mexico City at the prestigious Universidad Iberoamericana.  She values cultural immersion opportunities and organizes travel opportunities for WHS students.  She has traveled to Spain, Costa Rica, and Peru with students and plans trips every other year.

Sra. Kincaid sponsors the Spanish Club and the UTMS Student Council.  Mrs. Kincaid was awarded the IASC Kate Comiskey Rookie Adviser Award in 2011.  She believes that Spanish can open a world of possibilities to students and encourages them to be enthusiastic learners.

Before teaching at UTSC, Mrs. Kincaid taught at St. Jude the Apostle School in South Holland, IL and at Trinity Lutheran School in Lansing, IL. She is a wife and mother of three children; Marie, Anne & David. Marie is a graduate of IU where she earned two degrees in East Asian Languages & Cultures and Linguistics. Anne is also an IU graduate with degrees in Spanish and Communications and has traveled to Spain twice—her first time studying with the program YES in Spain and the second as a live-in nanny for a family with two small girls.   Both girls now work for the university.  David is a Dean's List student at Purdue Lafayette and is majoring in propulsion engineering.  Her husband, Dan, has a degree in electrical engineering and is a Maintenance Manager in a popcorn facility outside of Chicago.

Diane Kincaid teaches Spanish at WHS and UTMS. In the mornings, Sra. is in her WHS classroom 203 where she teaches Spanish levels 1 & 2. During the afternoons, she teaches World Language (Spanish) to 7th and 8th graders in rotation classes.
