SPORTS:

 

Volleyball Results:

The 7th grade team came from behind to win the first game vs Whiting. It was a great team effort. Unfortunately, they lost the next two games. The 8th grade won in two games.

 

Cross-Country Results:

The UYMS Bearcat Boys and Girl's XC teams were both victorious over Lake Ridge and Whiting. All ran exceptionally well. Places are as follows.

Cheerleaders have practice today until 5:00 p.m.

 

Track & Field Conditioning will be today and Thursday from 3:30-5 pm. Both practices will be in the field house. Shorts, t-shirt and running shoes are required. Track spikes are optional.

 

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

 

Florida Trip: There is a meeting today immediately after school for those students going on the Florida trip. Your coaches know you be late for practice.

 

Media Center:  Scholastic,Tab, and Arrow book orders are due today. Orders can be placed online or through Mrs. Ditchcreek. Also if you see a book you would like to read but don't want to buy it, let Mrs. Ditchcreek know and she will get it for the library. 

 

The Student Council Veterans' Day committees will meet in Sra.'s room 701 after school today.  All members that have volunteered or would like to help are asked to attend.

 

Drama Club scheduled for tomorrow has been canceled. The club will resume next Wednesday, Sept. 27.

 

Hurricane Irma Relief: Please help support the Hurricane Irma relief effort. The Student Council is sponsoring a fundraiser for the victims of Hurricane Irma on Friday. If you donate $1, you can wear your pajamas to school. Please bring your money on Friday.  

 

Remember: Be a buddy, not a bully. So be respectful, be responsible, and be your best!
