WEDNESDAY, MAY 15th, 2019                                                                               

ATHLETICS:

SOCCER

Congratulations to both the Boys and Girls Soccer Teams who defeated Hebron yesterday.

In the Boys game, Tommy Emery scored the first goal of the season and in over 6 years for UTMS Soccer!  Chris Vargas scored 2 goals and Logan Murray, Chris Benefit, and Logan Rouhselang each scored one.  Assists were made by Chris Benefit, Logan Rouhselang, and 3 by Logan Murray.  Goalkeeper Brody Przybyl and the rest of the Bearcat defense only gave up one goal as the team rolled to a 6 – 1 victory.

Not to be outdone, the Girls team also won by a 6 - 1 margin with goals from Lauren Hostetler, Carmina Williams, Bre Perryman, Lucca Okeley, and 2 by Makenna Johnson.  Goalkeeper Mysti Hoffman and the rest of the Girl’s defense only gave up one goal.

PHYSICALS

If you need a physical for next school year, you can have one done through the high school on Thursday from 3:30 – 5:30pm.  Registration will be at the nurse’s office and the cost is $25.  Please have your IHSAA physical forms filled out before you arrive.  You can find them on our website or in the office with Mrs. Kruszka.

TRACK

Athletes: check your email to see if you qualified for the state meet!  Make sure your uniform is turned in by Friday.  Check your lockers and book bags and turn them into the office.

WHS GIRLS GOLF

Any 8th grade girls interested in being part of the WHS golf team in the fall, there will be a callout meeting this Friday, May 17th at 2:55 in Coach Lyons' room, Room 204 of the high school.  We will be discussing the summer schedule and making decisions on uniforms.

CHEER

Any 6th and 7th grade girls interested in cheerleading should put their name and parent’s email on the signup sheet in the office for next year’s team.
