ATHLETICS: 

6th GRADE BOYS BASKETBALL

6th grade boys practice/tryouts will begin TODAY from 3:30 - 5:30pm.  A valid physical must be on file in the middle school office in order to participate.

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

FOOD DRIVE

UTMS Food Drive starts today!  Are you ready for some competition?!  Please check your advisory classroom flyer for a list of food items to donate!  The top two advisory winners will win a pizza party sponsored by NJHS and Student Council.  The 3rd and 4th place advisories will win a donut party.  Want to see how good your class is doing?  Check out the tally board in the commons that will be update daily!  Bring all donations to your advisory to be counted and recorded and THEN send them to the commons.  Donate today to help those in need!  

MIDDLE SCHOOL PLAY AUDITIONS

Auditions for the middle school play - Law and Order: Fairy Tale Unit - will be on Monday, November 4th from 3:15 - 5:00pm for all grades.  If you are interested in being onstage please come and audition for this hilarious show!  You will be expected to read from the script for auditions; so you don't need to bring anything but yourself.  If you are interested in backstage or set building, you can also come this day and fill out an interest form.  If you have any questions, please see Mr. Hanaway during lunch. 

D.C. TRIP

Want to take a trip to Washington D.C. on President's weekend in February?  There will be a final call out meeting to be announced soon.  This is our first trip out and we will be seeing many amazing sites!  Please join your friends!

CAFETERIA

The cafeteria will be offering a sack lunch to purchase tomorrow, the 5th - corndogs will not be served. 

NOVEMBER CHARACTER TRAIT 

November's character trait is Cooperation.  Each teacher will be given 2 coins this month to hand out!  Let's work towards showing our teachers that we have good communications skills, respect for each other, and are willing to recognize the skills and strengths of others!  Stay tuned for October winners and their award!!
