Tonight's middle school games vs Lake Ridge have been cancelled. This includes 6th, 7th, and 8th grade teams. All three teams will not have practice tonight and will go home after school.

Mr. Harnew took our 8th-grade We the People teams to the regional competition today, and our students did an incredible job! They walked away as Runner-Ups, and we are so proud of them all! Their hard work, preparation, and teamwork truly shined through. Thank you, Mr. Harnew, for your dedication and leadership in guiding our students to success.

Last night we tipped off our basketball season at UTMS! Our cheer team did an amazing job keeping the fans and players pumped all night long. Our 7th grade team came out with a dominate win over Westville. Our 8th grade team came up short in very tough and exciting game that had many lead changes which came down to the final shot. Well done by all our athletes and thanks to all the fans that came out last night. Go Bearcats!

From all of us at UTSC, we THANK YOU!

PCES Parent Advisory Council Invites You to attend the rescheduled commUNITY evening this Wednesday!

Today, UTMS celebrated our veterans at our Veterans Day program. The event was filled with pride and gratitude as we honored veterans from all branches of the armed forces. We extend our deepest thanks to the men and women who have served our country, sacrificing so much to protect our freedoms. Their courage, dedication, and selflessness inspire us all. A special thank you to Mrs. Kincaid for her hard work in organizing the event and to our student council for leading today’s ceremony. The program was truly moving, reminding us all of the enduring strength and resilience of those who serve.

Explore, Create, Innovate ~ Bearcats in STEM! We started our 4th Grade STEM fieldtrips to WHS. Our Engineering Course students extended student learning by making student posters interactive through a playdough circuit. What a great experience for all of our Bearcats!

We regret to inform you that tonight's SEPAC CommUNITY Meeting - November 6, 2024 has been POSTPONED. This is a result of water line damage affecting the location. We promise to keep you posted on a new date soon!

Due to a damaged water line in the area of tonight's event, the CommUNITY Meeting will be postponed until further notice.

We want to take a moment to recognize and thank our dedicated UTMS teachers for their hard work on this synchronized e-learning day. They have put in tremendous effort to ensure that each lesson is engaging, accessible, and meaningful for all students. Navigating online learning can be challenging, but our teachers are going above and beyond to create a supportive and effective environment for our children. Thank you for your continued support, and please join us in appreciating the commitment and care our teachers bring to this learning experience.

Are you ready for some football? Tomorrow Nov. 1 at 7:00 PM, our Bearcats take on Andrean at home in an intense IHSAA sectional game! All spectators, including students, will need to pay a $7 entry fee, as this is an IHSAA ran event. Let's pack the stands, bring the energy, and show our Bearcats the support they deserve!

Thank you to Hobart Middle School for graciously hosting Union Township Middle School for the inaugural We the People practice round ahead of our upcoming competition! Our students did an outstanding job, impressing the judges with their knowledge and preparation. Huge shoutout to Mr. Harnew for his dedication to cultivating curious minds and helping our students reach new heights!

Tonight was a celebration of talent, dedication, and the power of music at UTMS! Our students played and sang with such heart, filling the room with energy and emotion that captivated everyone present. Mr. Miller and Ms. Prisby have been incredible mentors, leading by example and inspiring our students to reach their full potential. Their commitment to our students has made such an impact, building both skill and confidence within our young musicians. It was a night we won’t soon forget, thanks to their hard work and the passion of our talented Bearcats!
