Explore, Create, Innovate ~ Bearcats in STEM! We started our 4th Grade STEM fieldtrips to WHS. Our Engineering Course students extended student learning by making student posters interactive through a playdough circuit. What a great experience for all of our Bearcats!

Are you ready for some football? Tomorrow Nov. 1 at 7:00 PM, our Bearcats take on Andrean at home in an intense IHSAA sectional game! All spectators, including students, will need to pay a $7 entry fee, as this is an IHSAA ran event. Let's pack the stands, bring the energy, and show our Bearcats the support they deserve!

Tonight was a celebration of talent, dedication, and the power of music at UTMS! Our students played and sang with such heart, filling the room with energy and emotion that captivated everyone present. Mr. Miller and Ms. Prisby have been incredible mentors, leading by example and inspiring our students to reach their full potential. Their commitment to our students has made such an impact, building both skill and confidence within our young musicians. It was a night we won’t soon forget, thanks to their hard work and the passion of our talented Bearcats!

Bearcat Spotlight: Today was a solemn day in Mrs. Ornelas' 6th grade classroom as the students held a funeral for all of the boring and overused words. Mrs. Ornelas always finds creative ways to make lessons engaging, and this one was no exception. The Grim Reaper even made an appearance, adding a twist to the farewell of tired vocabulary. Students were fully immersed, actively participating in discussions about alternative words and brainstorming ways to elevate their writing. Way to go Mrs. Ornelas for finding unique ways to help our students succeed!

The 7th and 8th grade volleyball teams put up a valiant effort but both came up short in the GSSC Tournament. Despite the tough loss, the girls can be proud of their hard work and growth throughout the season. They showed dedication, teamwork, and improvement with each game. Though the tournament didn't end with a win, their season was a success in so many ways, setting a solid foundation for the future.
